The Lakeridge Health Corporation is the governing body of hospitals in the Ontario towns of Oshawa, Whitby, Scugog and the Municipality of Clarington. Bowmanville Memorial Hospital was founded in 1913 and renamed to Lakeridge Health Bowmanville when it was placed under the administration of the Lakeridge Health Corporation in 1998.
