I recently attended the Newcastle and District Chamber AGM where Clarington Mayor Jim Abernethy was the guest speaker. The following slide which was part of Mayor's presentation caught my eyes.  As I am sure you can agree that with all these project happening in Clarington the future of this community is very bright. By the way this was before the new budget. I am sure the Mayor, the council and the staff have a number of other projects on the waiting list which will be brought forward to take advantage of the Federal government's stimulus package.
