Spring is just around the corner and I heard with delight today that my client sold their house in 9 day! The home was vacant and rentals were brought into the property to give it a lived in feel. It's truly amazing to see a lifeless house transform into a home in just hours when rentals are brought in. These homeowners had tried to sell last year without staging. When their new home was ready they moved out leaving the property empty. After renting it out for a while they decided to try selling again, this time using staging. With the home up for sale in this buyers market they managed to get an offer in just 9 days. Needless to say the owners were ecstatic.

Hearing these selling statistics gives the industry a positive feeling for what the rest of the year has to offer. As the snow finishes melting there will be many buyers ready to purchase. There has never been a better time to buy then now. A cliché saying these days however it is the truth. Interest rates are so low and the home prices have leveled out. If buyers miss this market they will be kicking themselves later at what they 'could have had.'
